1940 Jacket. Bust 96 cm (37.8")
Also available as a PDF pattern
This is a mid-length 1940s coat with a short cape, perfect for summer. This collarless coat fastens at the centre front and the edges tie together with a small bow at the waist. The front and back darts shape the waist nicely. The coat is sleeveless, with the short cape joining onto the armhole. The top of the cape is pleated or gathered at the shoulders. The pattern includes separate pieces for the front lining and facings for the armholes.
