Sewing a vintage-style blouse often requires attention to detail and sewing methods that are uncommon nowadays. Some of these blouses require hand stitching, side closures, pintucks, button loops and shoulder pads – it's these details that make the styles unique and help them to stand out from the crowd!  These patterns were originally published without step-by-step instructions, but not all of the designs are overly complicated and we have tried to provide basic construction notes to help you.
