1950 Swing coat pattern in 92 cm/ 36" bust

A hip length swing-back coat from 1950. The original sketch contrasts plaid against plain, a classic look, and the coat could easily be styled in a plain fabric, such as a 'Loden' or felted wool. The back has lots of swing is cut wide and circular. The shoulder-line is dropped slightly and the front fastens with a double row of 2 buttons. The lower edge of the jacket has a wide band, and there is also an option to add patch pockets onto that band at the front.
