1949 Men's Jacket. Chest 98 cm (38.6"). PDF
This is a smart 1950s men's jacket pattern, designed for casual or sportswear. It features large patch pockets with inverted pleats and triangle-shaped flaps on the front. The centre front fastens with an open-ended zip. The square-cut body of the jacket is eased into a slightly more fitted bottom band. The back features a yoke. The two-piece sleeve has a buttoned cuff. It is suitable for medium to heavyweight cottons, linen, corduroy and medium-weight wools. I have also seen a version made in a lighter oilskin fabric.
Available in three original sizes, for these body measurements:
| Sizes | Chest | Waist |

92 cm (36.2") | 86 cm (34”) |
| 2. |
**98 cm (38.6”) | 92 cm (36") |
