1936 Dress. Bust 96 cm (38"). PDF
This is a mid-1930s dress pattern for a casual summer dress designed for sport and travel. The bodice has a centre-front button placket and collar accentuated with topstitching. The short sleeves are made from two pieces joined with an underlap and buttons. The front of the skirt has two box pleats that are stitched together and open at the knee. The back of the dress is cut in one piece. The original sketch shows that the left-hand side fastens with a row of buttons. A fabric belt with a decorative clasp at the waist smartly finishes off the outfit.
