1934 Dress. Bust 96 cm (37.8"). PDF pattern.
This is a long afternoon dress pattern from 1935. It features a soft cowl neckline and an interesting shoulder line with a draped collar and split sleeves. It looks as though the model is wearing long gloves, instead they are long slim-fitting sleeves that are separate to the dress, but they are fastened to the dress underneath the arm with press-studs. The dress can also be worn without the sleeves. A fabric belt shapes the waistline, and the straight skirt ends in flounces at the front and back hem. The centre back has a ruffle (not shown) that extends from the top of the skirt to the flounces at the lower edges.
