1934 Long gown. Busts 88 cm + 96 cm (35" & 38"). PDF pattern
Also available as a printed PAPER pattern
This is a beautiful, elegant, long evening gown. It was originally described as being made of lightweight velvet, with contrasting fabrics lining the inside of the sleeves and the lower front edges of the skirt. The fitted bodice has a dropped waist and joins the skirts in a zigzag shape. The front and back skirts are cut on the bias for a slim, close-fitting silhouette. Contrasting sashes are stitched into the waistline darts and tie together at the back. This design was also presented as a white satin bridal gown without the contrasting elements.
