1937 Jacket with cape. Bust 92 cm (36")
This is a fitted, short jacket and cape pattern from 1937 with a striking design. The strong, angular shoulder line is accentuated by two large, pointed folds at the outer edges of the yokes. The lower edges of the cape fold up at the front to form a sleeve-like shape and are secured to the front of the yoke and underarm. The slim-fitting main jacket underneath has waist darts, and the lower edges are shaped into two V-points. The neckline features a simple, elegant roll collar.
