1933 Jacket. Bust 90 cm (35.4")

This is a pattern for a short evening jacket from the early 1930s. It is quite a slim-fitting jacket, which fastens at the front with a single button and it is actually sleeveless. This elegant Art Deco-era garment is quite unique, as it features a short cape attached in a manner similar to a large, soft collar. The original description calls for velvet, but it would also look lovely in a variety of other fabrics. Although this jacket was designed to be worn over an evening gown, its style is also suitable for a more casual or contemporary daytime wear.
