1953 Waistcoat 100 cm (39.4") bust. PDF pattern.
This is an early 1950s waistcoat pattern. The original design was intended for sports activities such as skiing, as can be seen in the 1953 fashion drawing. However, it can also be styled to add a touch of flair to more casual outfits. It has a fitted design with a princess line at the front and a centre-back seam. These design features allow for greater flexibility in achieving the perfect fit. The back neckline is slightly raised, and the front neckline features interesting triangular cut-outs in the centre panel.
