1940 Play suit. Bust 104 cm (41"). PDF pattern.

This is a sewing pattern for a 1940s beach outfit or playsuit ('Luftanzug'). The costume is an 'all-in-one' design with a halter-neck top and simple shorts. The suit buttons up at the back. The waistline is fitted and the shorts do not have pleats. The original fashion sketch shows how the seams joining the midriff look when finished with contrasting binding.
