1938 Ski jacket. Bust 90 cm (35.4"). PDF pattern.
A pattern for an original 1930s ski jacket. A short double-breasted ski jacket with a wide notched collar. The front sides and back fit snugly to the waist with wide elasticated panels. The sleeves have wind protectors stitched in at the wrist. The jacket also has some really useful features, such as extra inside pockets and sleeve tabs with buttons and top-stitching.

Wie immer ein super Muster, schön klar und übersichtlich gemacht und der Schnitt selbst war genau richtig. Besonders die Kragenform kommt bei dieser Jacke schön zur Geltung. Wenn man mit der Konstruktion des Kragens und den Grundprinzipien beim Nähen einer Jacke vertraut ist, sollte sie auch ohne Anleitung leicht zu machen sein. Ich habe anstatt ein Elastikband einzusetzen einfach die seitlichen Kanten zur Taille hin schmaler geschnitten, was auch gut aussieht an der Jacke. Als Stoff habe ich einen etwas kräftigeren Moleskin verwendet, der beim Tragen gut die Form behält. Es war auch eine große Hilfe dass die Besätze schon mit enthalten waren, was bei solchen Schnittmustern nicht selbstverständlich ist. Vielen Dank für die Bereitstellung von so vielen tollen Schnittmustern wie dieses!
