1934 Beach Pyjama. Bust 88 cm (34.6"). PDF pattern.
This sporty Beach Pyjama pattern is from 1934. The original design used striped fabric and angled grainlines to create a striking effect. In the original sketch, the model is wearing a scarf draped across her shoulders, with the ends passing through a slit in the front of the bodice and tying together. The stripes further emphasise the low, plunging V-shaped neckline at the back. The trousers have a comfortable, loose, wide fit, and the legs are flared. They fasten with a button in the centre of the back seam, making them easy to put on and take off.
