1956 Blouse. Bust 100 cm (39.4")
A classic 1950s vintage blouse sewing pattern. This elegant blouse from 1956 has a wide, pointed collar and a buttoned front. The three-quarter-length sleeves feature gathers and pleats that come together at a simple band. One pleat shapes the front waist on each side. The sleeves are cut in two pieces, so the stripes, placed on the bias, form a chevron shape along the arms. The blouse can also be made using fabric cut on the straight grain.
