1936 Gown. Bust 120 cm (47")
This is a sewing pattern for a long, slim-line evening gown from 1936. The contrasting textures of the matte and shiny sides of silk crepe-backed satin highlight the separate panels of this elegant gown. The stand-up collar and contrasting panels could also be made from lace and other textured fabrics. The main skirt pieces are cut on the straight grain. This versatile design could also be made into a shorter afternoon dress.
