1930 Sports trouser waist 76 cm (30")
This is a pattern for sports trousers from the late 1920s and early 1930s. At the time, these were a brand new style of sports trousers for women. Designed especially for walking and skiing, they incorporated the increasing range of zippers that had become available at that time. The back of each trouser leg splits into two sections, joined by a zipper extending to the ankle. The side seams and pockets also feature zippers. An elasticised stirrup holds the lower legs of the trousers in place. These trousers are definitely unique for the era and highly functional for sporting activities.
