A chic early 1950s blouse. Originally described as being made from lace and intended for late afternoon wear. The high standing collar is a variation of a shawl collar, where the facing forms the main structure. The eye catching triangular cut out on the front is edged with a narrow binding and the left side seam has an in-seam closure. The blouse has simple short cut-on sleeves.
