This is a summer blouse from 1953. It has a front insert which was originally sketched to show contrasting fabric, and the front closure has a button stand which is stitched on. The high collar buttons up closely to the neckline and can be accentuated with an optional ribbon bow. The waistline is shaped with pleats at the front and back. The shoulder line is extended to form short cut-on sleeves.

For these body measurements:

• 1.5 cm (5/8") seam allowances.
• Original notations on the pattern pieces are in German and English.
• Guide with original information and written instructions*, in English only.

*Sewing experience is required, because the instructions are without diagrams.
