Mid 1930s waistcoat with angular design lines. The waistcoat is double-breasted and fastens with four large buttons on the left side. The square neckline sits high above the bust and the lower edges form a peaked shape when fastened together. The armhole is cut relatively low, which allows greater movement and ease, especially when wearing a blouse with fuller sleeves underneath.
