A summer dress from 1930 that can be made with or without sleeves. It has a wide, round neckline with decorative stitching. The V-shaped waist seam sits slightly lower than the natural waistline. The long sleeves have a flared flounce at the wrist. Suitable fabrics, originally suggested in 1930, are a Crêpe de chine or a Crêpe georgette. A modern lightweight cotton/linen blend, viscose or rayon would also be suitable.
