1933 Velvet Jacket. Bust 90 cm (35.4"). PDF pattern.
Also available as a printed PAPER pattern
This is a pattern for a short evening jacket from the early 1930s.
This velvet caplet jacket dates from 1933. This slim-fitting jacket fastens at the front with a single button and is sleeveless. Instead, this elegant Art Deco-era garment features a short cape attached in a manner similar to a large, soft collar. The original description calls for velvet, but it would also look lovely in a variety of other fabrics. Although this jacket was designed to be worn over an evening gown, its style is also suitable for more casual daytime wear.
