A day dress from the summer of 1935. This dress features handwork stitches of fagotting and/or 'hemstitch' on the wide jabot and the sleeves. The double-breasted bodice buttons on the left side and the edges of the jabot form a small V-shape at the back neckline. A flat-collar sits over the jabot.The skirt is a slim fitting style and includes an panel of pleats on the right side at the hemline.
