1940 Men's Ski jacket. Chest 96 cm or 104 cm (37.8" or 41")
Also available as a PDF pattern
This is a short jacket for skiing. It has deep armholes and wide sleeves to allow a good range of movement during sports. The back features a V-shaped yoke which can be topstitched if desired. The front has a zipper and a collar. There are useful patch pockets with flaps on the upper front of the jacket's torso. Folded-over topstitched pleats with eyelets are found on the front and back of the waistline, and cords are threaded through these to enable the jacket to be drawn in at the waist. The sleeve ends gather into a band that buttons up at the wrist.
