This is a single-breasted sports coat pattern from 1935. The front and back yokes are shaped with curved seams. The notched collar, yoke seams and pockets are topstitched to emphasise the casual, sturdy design. The front of the coat fastens with four buttons. The sleeve ends have a simple turned-up hem, and the wrist width can be adjusted using a short tab and button. The edges of the patch pockets are stitched on all four sides, and there is a pocket flap, which covers a slit-opening into the pocket, that is fastens with a button. The coat is worn with a matching fabric belt.
