1957 Suit 104 cm (41") bust

A classic mid-1950s suit. The jacket features a shawl collar with short wide lapels and it buttons-up from above the bust-line.
The front and back have princess-line seams and there is a centre back seam. The collar and pocket flaps are pictured with fur trims. The hip pockets are only decorative flaps, although real inside pockets could be made instead.
The sleeves are finished with a turned-back cuff. The skirt is a slim-line pencil skirt with a back pleat.
