This mid-length coat features classic 1940s styling, with wide shoulders and an A-line shape. The yokes, the front button stand and the centre back are made from contrasting fabric. For a different look, try reversing the colour blocking — choose a plain fabric for the main coat and a plaid for the yokes and trim. Include shoulder pads to achieve the true 1940s square shoulder line, whatever styling you choose.

Available in two original sizes.

For these body measurements:

  BustWaist
Hip
1.88 cm (34.6")
70 cm (27.6")
94 cm (37")
2.96 cm (37.8")

Includes:

  • 1.5 cm (5/8") seam allowances
  • Original annotations on the pattern pieces are in German and English
  • Guide with written instructions* in English only
  • Links to additional sewing references in our online library
