This pattern is an excellent version of a historical pattern. It contains 10 pages of information about the pattern, including an overview with measurements, two reproduction colors pages from 1940 magazines featuring it, the original outline and description (in German), a guide to pattern pieces, a discussion of vintage patterns, and sewing instructions. That is just the introduction! The pattern pieces are printed on lovely paper, not too thin and not too thick, in both English and German. I think anyone using this pattern couldn't go wrong and would learn a great deal about vintage patterns as well. I haven't made it yet because I'm looking for just the right material, but I don't anticipate any difficulties with the pattern. I'm very glad I purchased it and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vintage pattern from this store. Five stars plus!
