1939 Dress. Busts 90 cm or 102 cm (35" or 40")
Also available as PDF patterns
This is an afternoon dress pattern from the late 1930s. This dress features fabulous, voluminous long sleeves. The bodice has two tiers of gathers and a front fastening. The waist is accentuated by a wide belt similar to a cummerbund. The half-circle skirt of the dress will flow beautifully. Interestingly, the centre front has a closure that is difficult to see in the original picture; alternatively, the front could be cut on the fold.
Available in two original sizes.
