1938 Dress. Bust 90 cm (35.4")
Also available as a PDF pattern
This is a copy of an original 1930s dress pattern, specifically from the spring of 1938. The design showcases a gracefully curved high waist-line paired with a slim elegant skirt. The bodice is detailed with a wide button-placket, secured by two prominent buttons for both style and function. Bold topstitching lines are carefully matched and coordinated on the wide, folded-back cuffs as well as the rounded flat collar, adding a touch of sophistication. This pattern is an excellent choice for creating a day dress, especially if you enjoy colour blocking with your favourite shades, allowing for a unique and personalised look.
